We paid for breakfast one morning and it was quite a spread: several breads and at least eight kinds of artisan jam, served on lovely china in a gorgeous room. The owner was sweet, and the beds were comfortable, with a great shower. The antique furnishings gave the VRBO unit a lot of charm. We stayed three nights, and found it a convenient base for visiting the region's castles, towns, wineries, and other sights.

Madame offered helpful suggestions for places to see and local restaurants. The room had charm, and the manoir was ideally located for exploring the area. We received a very warm welcome.

Waking up to birdsong in the peaceful garden, with its magnificent view of the Loire River, was lovely. We found it a charming place for a cycling weekend, and the welcome was warm and attentive. Breakfast was delicious, with a range of excellent jams, including rose, violet, ginger, and pistachio.

Even in winter, the garden is beautiful, and this part of the Loire Valley is magnificent. The place itself feels like stepping back into the 18th century, and breakfast is incredible. I highly recommend it.
