This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The carpet was filthy, the bed was stained and dirty, the shower had mold, and the pillows and sheets smelled awful. The whole room stank of cigarettes. The door didn't even have a lock, and the bathroom door wouldn't close or lock either. The room was tiny, and there were rumors that people come into rooms to steal. I couldn't sleep at all and had to leave the lights on. I put a T-shirt over my pillow. It was so expensive for such a disgusting room, and I ended up changing hotels. This place needs to be demolished and rebuilt. Don't come here!
The room was decent for a night, though the bathroom felt dated. Reception was very friendly when we arrived late, but the welcome explanation was rushed. Nobody mentioned breakfast hours or checkout time, so we had to ask about breakfast ourselves. Breakfast ran from 7 to 10. We came down around 8:30 and couldn't see any staff. A few other guests were there, but the tables were dirty, the ham tasted sour and seemed spoiled, and much of the buffet was empty. Nothing was being replenished, and most of the bread was hard and dry. We managed to find a little that was edible and took a Coke from the fridge, which guests could access freely. When a staff member eventually came by, we told them about the bad ham. They just said "okay" and "sorry," then left it on the buffet without offering a solution. It came across as cold and indifferent. A manager later arrived looking annoyed and told us we had to pay for the Coke, since it wasn't part of breakfast, even though the fridge was right in the breakfast area and easy for guests to access. The room was fine for a short stop, but the breakfast left us with a very negative impression. We won't be staying here again.
A terrifying stay. The service was awful, the management unprofessional, and they showed no concern for our safety or experience. They hung up on us and laughed in our faces. Avoid this place at all costs.
We ended up changing rooms, and the second one was much nicer and more complete. It had a heated mirror, an outlet, and a closed shower. The mattress could use replacing, though it was comfortable. The first room was for guests with disabilities, and its open shower sent water everywhere. There was no light by the mirror or outlet, so using a hairdryer wasn't possible. The hotel is pleasant and staff were nice, making sure we had a good stay. It is well connected to Paris by the 1 RER line. Breakfast was 13 euros per person, and the selection was good and complete with full dishes. The waiters should refill things before guests have to ask, and please clean the scrambled egg dish before adding a fresh batch. We ate at the restaurant on our first day. The starters and main were nice, the main was fish and some shrimps, and the meal cost 21 euros plus drinks. Drinks at 4,5 euros seemed a bit expensive; I think 2-3 euros would be more reasonable. There's a supermarket nearby for anything you need, though it closes at 9pm.
For 60€ a night, the value seemed fair. It's a very basic hotel, but fine for an overnight stay. The bed was clean and comfortable, the water pressure was good, and I appreciated having a small desk and TV. Dinner at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced, and the staff were professional. The main problem was the soundproofing. There was practically none between rooms or against outside noise.
