Campanile Paris Ouest - Gennevilliers Barbanniers

The hotel felt safe, as did the surrounding area. Housekeeping took great care of our room, and the front desk staff were courteous and helped us despite our nonexistent French. Breakfast was hot, free, and excellent, and there's a great restaurant for dinner, plus another within walking distance. A supermarket is about a four minute walk away, and the train station is roughly seven minutes on foot. It's 7-9 stops to the Eiffel Tower, or 4 stops, a train transfer, then another 7-8 stops to Versailles or the Louvre Museum.

The heating wasn't working as it should, so be ready for a cold room. I assume the hotel is trying to save on heating costs. More and more hotels seem to be going down this wrong road, and it leads to negative ratings.

The beds were nice, but the rooms were extremely hot and the bathroom was humid. The yogurt gave me food poisoning, and I held everyone up for an hour on the trip back, so we missed some plans. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I know it's Paris, but with so many visitors from the UK, an English menu would be helpful.
