Veronique really knows the area and its restaurants, so just ask if you need tips. Breakfast in the lovely country kitchen was generous enough that you won’t leave hungry, with pastries, fruit, cereal, homemade jams, local cheese, ham, and more she’ll try to tempt you with. A little outside Cognac, this guesthouse is a true gem. There are just 2 very large rooms, furnished impeccably with every modern convenience, including extremely comfortable super king-size beds. Veronique is an amazing host.

We stayed for two days and were warmly welcomed by Véronique and Patrice. The dinners they offered were very good too. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed.

The welcome was very pleasant, and I’d recommend this place without hesitation. It’s tastefully decorated and well appointed, the rooms we stayed in were comfortable, and breakfast was generous and very good.

Breakfast was generous, with both sweet and savory choices, fresh produce, and homemade jams. The pool and spa were a lovely extra. Véronique and Patrice are wonderfully kind and know how to make guests feel welcome, and they gave us great advice for exploring the region. The rooms were spacious, very clean, well equipped, and had comfortable beds. We recommend them without hesitation. If you're looking for a place to stay in the region, you’ve found it. We had a wonderful time! 😍 The hosts were exceptional, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent and homemade, with sustainably grown produce too. The place was clean and peaceful, and the pool and the hosts’ kindness make us sure we’ll be back as soon as we can. Highly recommend it. Thank you!
