I only stayed one night while on a motorcycle tour, so I can't comment on the food. The staff seemed really friendly, and it's a good hotel in a great location. There are plenty of good bars and restaurants in town.

The place has a great location and the food was decent, but the service was terrible. A waiter told us to sit at a particular table, then we were told to leave because we didn't have a reservation. We waited 30 minutes to order. When my wife said she was allergic to gluten, the waiter joked that she should eat some bread. Rude from start to finish. I wouldn't recommend it.

The lake view was lovely, and breakfast was excellent. We were welcomed warmly and the service was quick and efficient.
