We'd arranged a group menu in advance for 13 people at €20 each, for a once-in-a-lifetime birthday meal bringing together four generations from the USA, UK and France. The bill came to €700. Only eight beers were ordered because nobody was drinking while driving; everyone else had water or cola. I've never before been served pasta, mashed potato and chips on one plate with veal. Maybe that says something about the chef's real culinary skill. A truly memorable experience!

I left without ever being served. I sat down for a drink on the terrace, but no one came to check on me for more than 15 minutes. When the waiter finally appeared, I signalled to him, but he started clearing tables and serving people who'd arrived later. I waited over 30 minutes in total.

The mini golf course isn't maintained, the holes are in poor shape, the clubs are bent, and there was only one ball for three people. They charge €5 per person, which feels like a lot for that. It ought to be free. Avoid this place.

It was glorious sunshine and the restaurant was open, with the terrace right there, but they wouldn't serve us or even let us take a drink outside. The staff were grumpy, arrogant and rude.

Dinner was good, and it's a good spot right by lake Gerdarmer. Still, €120 without breakfast feels a bit much.
