The apartments had a big kitchen, a sofa bed and a room with bunk beds that was perfect for children. Upstairs there was a double bed where you could get some peace and quiet. The complex has a huge pool at the back and a big garden that’s great for volleyball. You can reach the beach in 15 seconds. I always spent my teenage holidays here, and they were the best. A perfect place for a wonderful beach holiday.

There was plenty of room for the three of us in the 75 square meter villa, which can sleep up to six. It had two large bedrooms with a double bed in each, plus a sofa bed in the very spacious living room. When we needed something or found something broken, we told reception and they sorted it out quickly. Speaking English was no problem. Our apartment was right beside the restaurant, where music played until late, but with the windows closed we couldn’t hear anything from outside. The Wi-Fi was strongest on the terrace, reaching up to 300 Mbps download and 200 Mbps upload, so Netflix and similar services worked fine.

The apartment was new, though the furnishings were a little worn with time. The spaces weren’t managed or organized very well. The parking was excellent, and so were the pool and the lawn overlooking the beach.

The supermarket is about 4 km away, but we had a motorcycle or car, so getting there was no issue. We spent a week in September 2013 and found the late-season price affordable. The apartment had its own terrace and swimming pool, and the beach and sea were only 50 and 100 metres away, close to the lake too. Everything was great apart from my friend's outdoor furniture breaking. He had a sore back, and nobody even said sorry or acknowledged how annoying it was. That was the only drawback. The place is basic but clean.
