The low prices compared with the rest of Corse and the short distance to the beach are real pluses, but you need a car. Apart from morning bread service, there’s no shop or restaurant in the area, just a very old vending machine. The flats are extremely bare, with only a table, an old couch and refrigerator, and a bedroom with a rather poor bed and worn pillows and sheets. The bathroom was a particular letdown: its window nearly fell on my wife, and there was mould in the shower. The garden was no better. Even reaching the beach on foot is unpleasant, through dense shrubs and past a small, very smelly river to a neglected stretch of shore. I’d suggest paying a little more for the much nicer campground just below.

We found it really relaxing, with a lovely natural setting: bridges, a small river full of frogs and fish, and a beautiful beach. There’s also a refreshing shower to use after swimming. We had a great holiday at la Marina Corsa.

There’s a parking spot and the large apartments have terraces facing the sea, with everything a person needs. The only thing I’d improve is internet access, which is available only at reception. I like this place.

At night there were lots of insects outside, so leaving the windows open wasn’t really possible. There’s no air conditioning or mosquito netting, and Wi-Fi is only available at reception.

The Wi-Fi is awful, but the staff are nice and the beach is pleasant without getting too crowded.
