We were happy with how clean, tidy, and safe the site felt, and the other campers were friendly. The location suited our plans perfectly, whether for a quick overnight stop or a long weekend, and we’d gladly recommend it. We hope to return for more walks and sightseeing along the miles of sandy beaches. When we arrived for our four nights, March 15 to 19, we initially thought the site was closed. A camper called the owner for us, which cleared things up quickly, and we got settled on a spacious touring pitch with plenty of room. Most places are for static vans, though. Since it was still early in the season, the sauna and its toilets and showers weren’t open. The block that was available was clean and adequate. The owner was friendly and helpful. His English was limited, and our French was too, but we managed to communicate what we needed. It’s a simple site, so people who criticize everything may not enjoy it. We liked it a lot.

The facilities could use some attention. They’re a bit run down and weren’t very clean, and you need to bring your own toilet paper. The pitches, though, are spacious and well kept, and the staff are friendly. It’s a nice, quiet campsite near Dunkirk.

There’s a good-sized pitch and the site feels quiet and secure, with a friendly owner. Most of the places are static vans. It worked well for an overnight stop after Dunkirk, though it’s a little out of the way if you want to walk anywhere.

It’s a quiet, well-maintained site, and the hosts were so accommodating that nothing seemed like too much trouble. Maneuvering a large caravan in was a bit of a squeeze.

There’s plenty of room for a tent, and the campsite is really quiet. Hot running water for washing dishes was great, and there’s a bus to the beach, though the timetable is hard to work out. We loved the relaxed holiday feel. We arrived at the last minute after hitchhiking, but we’d called ahead. The owners were very sweet, and their daughter is adorable. They gave us a warm, hospitable welcome. We used the sauna one day and found it really relaxing. It’s included in the price, though you do need to buy a shower token.
