Bruno and Nadine speak English and were kind and helpful as we planned our trip. They shared some really interesting tips. It’s a great spot to unwind by the Loire, where we began visiting the Loire Valley castles. We’ll definitely be back next year!

The Repos du Marinier is a well-equipped gite with a great location, close to all the shops and looking out over the Loire and the château de Gien. Nadine and Bruno gave us a really warm welcome. Don't hesitate, go for it.

The inside is really lovely, but remember you're right in the city. There's no double glazing and no fan, and we were there during a heatwave. With the weather getting in the way, the stay wasn't as pleasant as we'd hoped.

A nice spot across the Loire from Gien Castle, with the riverbanks easy to reach and local shops within walking distance. The location is pleasant.

The Loire and the castle look beautiful from the cottage, and the city center is so close you don't need to drive. We got a friendly welcome and found the place very functional, with original decor. Highly recommended.
