The dinner was excellent. Our room was large and clean, and the location made access and parking easy.

The restaurant was a delight, with lovely dishes and wines and wonderful service. Be sure to book dinner here when you arrange your stay. Our second-floor room was peaceful and recently renovated, and breakfast was nice. The lake, with its beautiful view, is a five-minute walk away. Highly recommended.

I really don't recommend it. The room we got was nothing like the website photos. They explained that there were two room types with different prices, which is understandable, but insects kept me awake all night. The floors were dirty, and there was nothing else to appreciate. I've stayed in better rooms back in the 1970s. Check the room in person before going, because the photos are fake.

The rooms are functional, and we received a very friendly welcome during our one-night stop on the way to Italy. Dinner was an utter delight. The staff were attentive and talked us through each dish. The cheese board was exceptional, and the young woman serving us knew so much about where the cheeses came from and the order to eat them in. Many thanks to all the staff. I highly recommend the hotel and restaurant.

We often stop here on our way back to the UK from the Alps. The hotel is very good, and it's lovely to arrive and take a walk by Lac du Der. The restaurant is excellent, and the breakfast is one of the best we've had in France.
