The hosts made us feel very welcome, and the rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast was a real treat, with homemade jams, yogurt, scrambled eggs, and plenty of other goodies. The old-style French farmhouse sits among grapevines and olive groves, in a great spot for exploring southern France's vineyards, hiking trails, and villages. Highly recommended.

The garden and saltwater pool are lovely, with places to sit all around and a real feeling of being close to nature. We stayed two fantastic days thanks to Andreas and Kathrin, who were generous, friendly, and full of useful restaurant tips, including La Fontaine aux Artistes. Our room, "Wine" room: petit cave, had recently been renovated and was tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and rain shower. The rooms each reflect something beautiful about the area. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade yogurt and eggs from their own chickens. Even when we didn't have bath towels, they promptly brought us two. Everything felt thoughtfully put together. We'd happily return.

The pool is great, and breakfast is tasty and local. There are shaded common areas and even a pétanque court, while the room and bathroom are both spacious. It was really nice, and we'd come back. The upper-floor room can get hot during a heatwave, though there's a fan, and the nights cool down enough to make it more comfortable.

There are plenty of naturally shaded spots to sit and enjoy the sounds around you, and the 15m pool is a welcome way to cool off when summer days reach about 30 degrees Celsius. By evening it drops to around 20 degrees, and the rooms have programmable fans. Each room also has a coffee machine and an electric kettle. The owners have turned this historic house and former restaurant into a beautiful bed and breakfast, keeping its old character while adding modern comforts. Set among a French winery and olive grove, it's a peaceful place to unwind. I'd recommend staying 2-4 days to see the region and Gignac.

The garden and surroundings are beautiful, the pool is lovely, and breakfast was great. We stayed two nights at Maison Catalina and wished we'd booked more time. The rooms are clean and newly decorated while still keeping the character of an old South of France country house. The Swiss couple who run it are very friendly and make you feel at home.
