The breakfast was fabulous, with fresh fruit salad, yogurt, boiled eggs, croissants, baguette, and freshly squeezed orange juice. The rooms had just been renovated, with great bedding, a big shower, and double glazed windows that kept out street noise. Vincent was attentive but discreet, and gave us excellent local dining tips. We found La Suite Gignac at the last minute after a stressful afternoon when another reservation fell through. Vincent gave us a warm, understanding welcome and was one of the finest hosts we've met in all our travels. We would have stayed longer, but the place was booked the next night. Five stars don't feel like enough. No question, this is THE place to stay in Gignac. Merci encore, Vincent! 😃

From outside, you wouldn't guess how quiet and peaceful it is inside. The building hides a wonderful place. The owner was so caring and welcoming, and the recently refurbished rooms felt spacious, with every detail carefully considered. We fell in love with it. What a beautiful surprise. Jacky & Helina.

Breakfast was a lovely start to each day, with homemade yogurt, pastries, bread, preserves, fresh fruit salad, orange juice, and excellent coffee. Our kind, attentive host asked what time we preferred each morning. The room, la Suite Gellone, was elegant and looked out over the garden. The bedding was excellent, the bathroom had a huge shower and lovely linens, and the room was spotless. Its soundproofing was so good I couldn't hear other guests, and the efficient air conditioning was much appreciated during the 35-36 degree heat outside on my three-day stay. The front of La Suite Gignac is quite understated on Gignac's main road, but step inside and it's wonderfully quiet. The town center is only a few minutes away on foot, with bars, restaurants, cafés, shops, and banks. I enjoyed wandering around, and the Saturday morning market was lovely. I came by bus rather than car and explored on foot. There's a direct bus from Montpellier that takes about 25 minutes and costs just a few Euros. I'm really glad I made the rather spontaneous decision to visit this lovely bed and breakfast. I highly recommend La Suite Gignac, and only wish I'd been able to stay longer.

The host got in touch by text a few days before I arrived to check he'd be there to let me in. I was staying with a friend and asked to add a second bed and breakfast. That was no problem once we paid the service fees, which were very reasonable. As far as I know, he can speak English, French, and Portuguese, which was really helpful. He showed us around when we arrived, explained a few things, handed over the keys, and we were off. Each morning there was a full breakfast outside our room: fresh-squeezed orange juice, bread, croissant, pain au chocolat, fruit salad, and even a freshly baked cake. On the day of the wedding, the host offered to drive me there because the venue was far off the road and there was no public transport. I was only there for a few days for the wedding. The place was spotless and looked newly renovated, about a five-minute walk from the bus stop, supermarket, and restaurants. I recommend it if you're after a bit of French life outside the city. Having a driving licence and rental car is best for getting around Gignac, nearby attractions, and Montpellier more freely.

The rooms were clean and spacious, with really good quality bedding. Vincent made us feel welcome and put together a breakfast fit for a king. We spent three nights visiting the beautiful villages nearby. Thank you, we'd gladly come back.
