ibis budget Albertville

Room 207 had lovely mountain views, and the location was great. The bath seemed like a bonus after our long drive, but there was no plug. The shower setup was odd too: one shower head position was down at knee height, while the other was so high you'd need to be seven feet tall. The screen was tiny. Whoever arranged it must have been a dwarf or a giant.

The room was clean and functional, with an okay amount of space for an IBIS budget. The check-in staff were exceptional and even helped us book a dinner reservation. One thing to watch for: in rooms above the entrance, smoke fumes may drift inside.

The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and soundproof, and the main road nearby wasn't audible. It's easy to find and works well for a budget stay of a night or two. There’s no air conditioning, though, and with our ground-floor window open we were disturbed by other guests at all hours. A second-floor room may be better.

Breakfast costs extra. It looked fine, though not especially good for the price, but it would do the job. The room itself was perfectly reasonable for a night or two: basic, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. I'd happily stay again while passing through.
