The host made arriving late easy by leaving the key somewhere we could find it, which we really appreciated. But as soon as we entered, there was a mouldy smell. The house was dusty, with cobwebs and marks from mould, and there were lots of messages saying cleaning wasn’t included in the fee. Half of the house seemed abandoned, with broken windows visible in the photos. After we left a review on booking, the host texted me insults. Not professional at all. This place shouldn’t be licensed to host any life form.

The house felt like home, with everything we needed, lots of room, and very comfortable beds. It was spotless when we arrived, and we’d definitely book again. Outside, there’s plenty of parking and a grassy back garden that isn’t overlooked, with picnic benches and a view of farmland. The gates made the garden feel safe for children. We stayed one night on our way to the South of France, and it was such a lovely stay. Thank you very much!

We got there around 4pm, made pasta and had some wine. There aren’t any food places nearby, so we ordered breakfast from the owner for the morning. It was a perfect stop on the way to the Alps, just five minutes from the autoroute, and really quiet and relaxing. We set off around 9am and reached la plagne about 3pm, with three coffee breaks.
