Toul was noisy at night, so after a day of riding I didn't sleep as soundly as I wanted. The town also feels a little run down, and I don't think we'll be coming back. The hotel itself is modest, clean, and well kept. There's a bike shed about half a block away where you can lock up your rides overnight. Breakfast is modest too, but fine. I'd recommend the hotel if you're staying in Toul.

I got stranded during my holiday while waiting for my motorcycle to be repaired, and the room was fine. I slept well and liked having a bath, though I can imagine the place gets noisy. I don't think there were many other guests while I was there. Breakfast the next morning was OK, but not worth €9,50 in my view. There wasn't much choice, no bread, and no staff around. The staff were generally friendly, and the rest wasn't so bad, but the way they handled my situation really disappointed me. I booked and paid for another night in the morning because I didn't know how long the repair would take and needed somewhere to keep my things. Early that afternoon, I found out the bike would be ready later that day, so I asked whether I could get a partial refund since I wouldn't use the room for the whole night. Reception was closed, so I called and got no answer, left a note at the desk, and emailed when I left. After several emails, they refused any refund, even a partial one. I know I had booked the room, and maybe I could have waited to see what happened or asked them to store my things before booking another night. But they also wouldn't refund the breakfast I'd paid for and hadn't eaten. I can only call that thievery. They offered a free breakfast on a future visit, which is a joke.

The first thing you notice walking into this tacky hotel is the overpowering toilet cleaner mixed with wet carpet. That awful smell even gets to you while you sleep. Stay away until they fix it!

A nice hotel with a decent basic breakfast. For a two-star place, the room was quite large, and the bathroom was nice, with a bath.
