An unusual set menu each day, and very tasty.

The welcome felt really warm, and I was very comfortable.

The room itself was enormous, with a sitting area, kitchen, shower, and bathtub. The owner had upgraded me without me asking, which seemed like a nice gesture at the time. But I’d booked a one-night business stay through the app for €115, and the next day I was charged €115 for the room and breakfast. A standard room is €85, with breakfast at €15, so that would come to €100. When I pointed this out, he said the superior room was included at the same price as the overnight package. I hadn’t requested the upgrade. The package was €110 per room, not €115, and I don’t think that’s acceptable even if the bill is paid by my company. I’d called early that afternoon to say I’d get there around 9 pm, and was told the kitchen would be closed. That was fine since I planned to eat on the road, so I asked for a room and breakfast instead. I won’t stay at this hotel again.
