La Ferme de Flo'

Even with cold, rainy autumn weather, we had a wonderful stay at la Ferme de Flo. Our two-year-old loved having room to roam and being around the animals, and the weather somehow made it more exciting. Flo and Bruno were fantastic hosts, showed us everything and served a great breakfast. Our little one even got to climb aboard the big tractor. The cottage was lovely and well equipped, too. We'll definitely come back.

A peaceful place to stop on the way south, and we may come back on the return trip. Our kids had a great time with the toys, seeing the animals on a tour of the farm and feeding the baby sheep. We enjoyed the quiet, the big bed and the delicious breakfast. Staying with lovely Flo was a treat. Thanks, Flo!

If you want a break from city life and a taste of slow village living, this is a great place for you and the kids. There's plenty of space and lots of animals to care for and feed. We chose the small separate house, which I recommend: it has air conditioning, a well-equipped kitchen and enough room for a comfortable stay. Since we arrived during the busy harvest season, we only got to spend time with Flo. She's wonderful with people, has a real gift for teaching, and made us feel at ease on the farm. We cooked for ourselves, so I can't comment on the food. It may help to know a few basic French words, as English isn't the hosts' first choice, though Flo can communicate in English if needed. You can book with confidence if this kind of stay is what you're looking for.

Flo made us feel very welcome and was accommodating throughout our stay. The farm was a real delight, and the animals seemed well cared for and kept in good conditions. I'm not sure what some of the other reviews were referring to. Our room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom and shower. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, while still being well placed for visits to nearby towns and villages like Provins and Sens. This was probably one of my favourite stays in France so far. If you're after a family-friendly, rustic, fun and relaxing experience, I recommend staying here. We'll be back, thanks so much, Flo! X
