Gîtes by Hôtel Les Reflets Jaunes

The room was nice and breakfast was fine, but there was almost never anyone at reception, and the key cards barely worked on the main entrance. Staff made me leave the room at 10:40, even though my reservation said checkout was at 11:30.

A great little place. We parked our motorcycles in a locked garage, and the location is near the river. The rooms were clean and breakfast generous.

The spacious room was about the only good thing. The hotel looked neglected, with dated decor and some broken parts, and the toilet stopped flushing after dinner, though it had worked twice earlier. Our room had a bathtub with a showerhead, but it only adjusted to shoulder height. The air conditioning didn't work, and the window wouldn't open, so it was far too hot to sleep. The minibar had exactly one beer. I don't really need a minibar, but if it's advertised, it should have more than that. After a poorly rested night, breakfast was another letdown. We paid 12 euros each, but the coffee was undrinkable, and the orange juice tasted like flat lemonade. I can't recommend this hotel.

Good value for money, with larger rooms than a standard double in France. The people working there were very kind, and everything was very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Wi-Fi is free, though I had to reconnect several times.
