Première Classe Amiens Est - Glisy

Wotif wasn’t helpful when I tried to sort this out. The room we got didn’t match our booking: it had a bunk bed and a double bed, which my partner and I neither expected nor wanted, and it was missing many of the amenities we’d booked. The hotel’s response was that it was a double bed. There was no service, just rude service. Terrible, terrible, terrible!

It was quiet, and the rooms can get very dark. There’s air conditioning and a shower. We stayed one night with our children at this nice hotel near the highway. We had two other rooms, right next to each other. Breakfast wasn’t anything special, but it was fine for a stop while travelling.

The rooms are tiny, with barely enough space to move around. Mine had no towels, and with no staff at night I couldn’t get any, so not being able to shower was really unpleasant. Check-in on the computer was a pain and far from intuitive. The reservation number in the email didn’t work, though I found the booking with my last name. Others ahead of me had worse trouble and called for help, but technical support only spoke French. Breakfast was OK, nothing great, but at least there was something to eat. The morning staff were helpful, but by then it was too little, too late.

Honestly, I didn’t feel safe. The hotel seemed full of people living there full time, cooking in their rooms and then hanging out on the balcony talking at all hours. The room was very small, and the air conditioning didn’t work well.
