Aux Sources de l'Yonne

The campsite and garden were decent, and the restrooms were fine too. We stayed for one night after hiking the GR13, expecting food because the website said it was available. It had actually stopped, and we had to explain several times that we couldn't eat and had been relying on it. In the end, we got two frozen pizzas. We felt as if we were in the way, and the staff weren't always friendly. Léa & Camille

After all those miles on the GR13, it was lovely to relax by the pool and have steak and chips with a bottle of white wine. We spent one night at the campsite and were welcomed very pleasantly. We ordered baguettes that evening for breakfast. The price was very reasonable. We recommend the place. Thanks so much for making us feel welcome.

Aux Sources de l'Yonne is well placed for hiking around the South Morvan, especially to Mont Beuvray. We had a very warm welcome and found the atmosphere calm. Our room was pleasant and clean, with good bedding. Good value for money.

You can just set off down any path here and end up with beautiful views across the green hills and valley. The surroundings are lovely, and Bibracte, the area's main attraction, is close enough to walk to if you feel like being active. Coming back to cool off in the pool was great. There's also a free communal kitchen, so no need to mess around with a camping stove, and the other facilities were clean, spacious and pleasant. The owners are friendly, and it's easy to chat with them and other guests if you're in the mood, though you can also keep to yourself. At night the Milky Way is visible, and it's incredibly quiet apart from the crickets. We had a wonderful, restful time. The quiet setting may be less suited to children.
