I spent the evening working in the covered garden area, with its outdoor furniture. It was a nice place to sit, though I wish I’d come in warmer weather so I could have stayed out longer. In the morning, breakfast was laid out at 8, with several cheeses, fresh bread, croissants, pain au chocolat, homemade confituur, fresh fruit and yoghurt. The little greenhouse was cozy with the stove on, as it was still March. Philippe was friendly the whole time. After my morning training, he even let me come back for a quick shower close to noon. I understand that might not have been possible if the room had been booked for the next day, but I was very grateful. When I arrived, Philippe showed me my room and asked what time I wanted breakfast. The property is lovely and clean, and seems to have been renovated recently while keeping its charm. My room was simple but very comfortable and welcoming. Everything was spotless, the bed had plenty of pillows and cushions, and the simple bathroom was just right. The spacious walk-in shower was a real plus. Anguleme is a 10-minute drive away, and this is a very quiet spot. Whether you’re traveling with kids or a partner, it’s a lovely place to stay in the area.

We had a wonderful time here and would love to return. From arrival to departure, we enjoyed the hospitality, charm, and calm of this beautiful B&B on the edge of an idyllic village. The estate feels cozy and peaceful, just right for unwinding, and the stylish rooms have comfortable beds and a lovely shower. For dinner, we chose the table d'hôtes. The owner sat us by a crackling gas fireplace and served a delicious meal. It felt intimate and special, as though we were being looked after especially well. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic too. Each table had its own breakfast, with lots to choose from, and everything was fresh and delicious. The village is a gem in its own right. We loved taking an evening walk before bed and enjoying the authentic French atmosphere.

The generous, varied breakfast served in the pleasant veranda was a lovely way to start a day of cycling. The owners were attentive, available, and easygoing, and their warm welcome made us feel at home right away. Their home-style cooking was delicious, with a great mix of flavor, originality, and refinement. Our spacious rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated, with a distinctive feel. A real gem, with an authentic atmosphere and excellent service. We’d happily recommend it.
