L'Instant Luberon

The kitchen was fully equipped, the bedrooms were a good size, the beds were comfortable, and there were lots of bathrooms. There was also a Smart TV. The hosts were rude and pushy. The pool was freezing and unusable, even though it was said to be heated. We ran out of hot water every morning, so the showers were cold. The place is in a gated community rather than the countryside, and there was no privacy, with gardeners, hosts, and other people constantly walking through the backyard. There was no self check-in or check-out, and it’s a 10 minute drive from Gordes.

I’d urge people to avoid this place. An issue with the Air BnB app caused an unauthorized payment from my account, and I reversed it within 60 seconds. I explained what had happened to Jean-Charles, who said they would refund the money because it was clearly an error. Later Air BnB contacted me to say Jean-Charles and his wife had decided to keep the money, apparently under their strict cancellation policy, even though this wasn’t a “reservation” but an error I reversed immediately. I’ve had to take legal action to get my money back. It’s really sad and disappointing that people like this exist :(

I wouldn’t recommend it.

The villa is exceptional, completely new, and well equipped, with excellent amenities. The owners are reliable and pleasant, and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend it.
