Le Clos De La Fontaine

After a day visiting the charming nearby towns, it was lovely to come back to the gardens and pool. The hosts recommended the towns, and the setting itself is stunning, with beautiful decor throughout. Luc and Corrine run an exceptional bed and breakfast, and the generous breakfast spread was top quality. We felt completely welcome and can’t imagine a more idyllic place to have booked. If you’re considering it, book soon. We had no regrets!

The pool, framed by olive trees and a huge sky, became my favorite place to pause. We spent afternoons there with rosé, conversation, and the sound of cicadas, looking out at the Luberon hills. It felt less like a hotel than a refuge, and every sight, smell, and sound has stayed with me. We came as a family with our dog, expecting a quiet break. The hosts and their gracious daughter welcomed us like family. Our dog was treated as part of the group, free to enjoy the terrace. When an unexpected online meeting came up, they simply told us to stay as long as we needed. Their care felt completely sincere. Our room had pale stone floors, soft linen curtains, and a hint of lavender. Small touches like a dried flower and handmade soap made it feel considered, not staged. The atmosphere even brought Alain Delon to mind, as if he might appear in the doorway with his sunglasses. Breakfast was a little ceremony under the Provençal sun: warm fresh bread, seasonal fruit, cold-pressed juice, and homemade jams. Mornings gave way to lazy poolside afternoons. There was something cinematic about the place, the kind Hemingway might have stopped writing to enjoy, and Alain Delon might have slipped into easily. Still, what makes it special is the people and their honest hospitality. Les Clos de la Fontaines feels like a gift of quiet elegance and real care. If you get the chance, stay a while. Your family and even your dog will be glad you did.
