The Tarn Gorge is wonderful, and I'll definitely return there. This Logis, though, is pretty basic, and I wouldn't come back. Apart from one elderly lady, I didn't find the other staff friendly or helpful.

We first came here because our hotel restaurant was closed, then returned the next night. The food is delicious and unfussy, with welcoming service and a relaxed feel right on the square of this beautiful little village. The homemade foie gras melts in the mouth, as it should, and made a special treat with toasted fruit cake filled with whole dried apricots and prunes. The trout was crispy and well cooked. The salade de l'auberge, with pan-fried gizzards, foie gras and smoked duck breast, was nicely balanced. The service staff were kind and patient with our attempts at bad French. Someone in the kitchen clearly loves their job, too, decorating plates with sugar work and balsamic vinegar.
