The wooded trails and peaceful surroundings made it easy to unwind at Chateau de Penfrat. My wife and I spent two nights there, and Patrick made us feel welcome from the start. He showed us around the chateau and pointed us toward places to visit and local restaurants. Breakfast was a highlight, too. We’d happily recommend a stay there.

We slept so well in the quiet setting, with flowers around the chateau and a view of the water. Patrick was a lovely host, and we enjoyed talking with him and the other guests. It was also an easy base for reaching the coast and nearby places. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

After more than forty years of holidays in Finistere, we know the area well, and Chateau de Penfrat gave us a particularly peaceful taste of Breton charm. Patrick was a wonderful host, with plenty of interesting life experiences to share. Our room was spacious and bright, and breakfast was delicious. We spent three nights here after staying at three other hotels on this trip, and this was easily our favorite. We’re already thinking about coming back to explore more of the ancient woodlands on the estate and beyond. Thanks, Patrick, for such a memorable stay.

We’ll definitely stay again when we’re passing through. It’s a beautiful chateau set on a huge estate, the host is delightful, and breakfast was fantastic.

The park view from our suite was breathtaking, and the room itself was lovely. Patrick made us feel right at home, almost like we were staying with friends. Breakfast was everything we could have wanted. We had a truly wonderful time at Château Penfrat and highly recommend it.
