Pauline had breakfast ready for us, and when the roads turned icy in the cold, frosty weather, she made a simple supper so we could stay in. The fire was lit morning and evening, and Vincent and Pauline made us feel completely welcome and cared for. Our room was sumptuous, with crisp sheets, lovely toiletries and lovely views. The grounds were just as special, with lawns opening onto woodland avenues. One of the most magical places we’ve ever stayed, like Normandy’s version of Balmoral. We’d love to come back and highly recommend this gem. Many thanks, Vickey and Portia.

The missing restaurant was our only complaint. We used to enjoy the fabulous food in the dining room, watching deer emerge from the forest, and we’d love to see the restaurant return. We’ve stayed at the Pavillon several times as a family and loved every visit. This time Pauline Earmann gave us a wonderful welcome and arranged everything. Because my mobility isn’t good, she found us a new room and moved in an extra bed so our little daughter could stay with us. We slept really well and Pauline served breakfast. Many thanks again to everyone at the Pavillon.

The welcome was warm and friendly, and we found the place beautiful and peaceful. We spent two nights at the Gouffern Pavilion and, in winter, really enjoyed the cozy fireplace. We’d happily return and highly recommend it. The photo was taken from our room early in the morning.

We’d already enjoyed the Pavillon Gouffern at a Jaguar Club meeting a few months earlier. In January, we came back and booked the whole venue for a birthday party with 97 family members and friends. The team was outstanding in arranging the lounges and dining room and booking all the rooms in the Pavillon. Our guests loved the venue, and manager Pauline’s availability and professionalism helped make the evening a resounding success. We highly recommend it for a party with friends in the area.
