Camping Le Mont Cesar

So much green space, and it’s really big! The amenities were spotless, the prices were very good, and the location worked well. I love it!

Such a beautiful campsite in nature, with lots of trees. It’s peaceful and so green.

It was decent.

The mobile home seemed fine at first, but the stay turned into a disaster because of the complete lack of support. We arrived around 3:30pm and paid an extra 25€ for a late checkout. At about 6:30pm, just as we were getting ready to make dinner, all the power went out. There was no light or heating, and we couldn’t cook, so the place was unusable. I messaged the host on Airbnb straight away and got no reply. Nobody was at reception either. I called every number displayed there several times, and even the emergency bell got no response. We spent over an hour trying to reach someone, then contacted Airbnb, who also tried and failed to get hold of the host. After another hour and a half with no electricity, solution, or word from anyone, we had to leave around 9:30pm. We live two hours away, but couldn’t stay in a mobile home with no power or heat and no way to prepare food. The next morning at 9:40, the host messaged to ask if we’d found anyone to fix the problem, as if nothing had happened. I complained and asked for the late checkout supplement back. He confirmed by email that he would refund it, but a week later there was still no news despite my follow-up messages. The lack of professionalism, responsiveness, and consideration is unacceptable. If something goes wrong, you’re left entirely on your own. I strongly advise against staying here. If you don’t want to risk being without electricity, help, or any solution, go elsewhere.
