Best Western Hotel Le Bordeaux Sud

Just one night for us, but it was a good stay. The staff were very helpful, and the hotel was peaceful and quiet 👍

The hotel is around 20 to 25 minutes from downtown Bordeaux, so it's outside the center, though easy enough to reach by car. It worked well for us as a clean room with the basic amenities while we were out most of the day. Fanny welcomed us at reception and was friendly and helpful, and Lea was just as helpful when we checked out. At the attached restaurant, Anna knows a lot about the region's wines. I asked her for suggestions, and the two she picked were exactly what I wanted. She's holding the white wine in the photo. All three women speak exceptionally good English. It's a good choice of hotel.

After a long day seeing Bordeaux, the pool was a welcome extra. A park-and-ride is only a few minutes away by car, with a bus into the city. Our larger executive room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed (31). The hotel itself is modern and spotlessly clean, and the staff are friendly and highly professional. I'd highly recommend it to solo travelers, couples, and families with teenage kids.

We stayed here overnight on the drive to Spain. It's good value for the price, clean throughout, and has free parking. The highway is close, but the hotel is quiet. Just right for a one-night stop on the way to your destination.
