La Pasteliere

The room itself was fine, though the cleaning was minimal. Breakfast was generous on the first morning and a bit less so over the next two days, but still good. We didn't get along with the lady, which was a shame. The gentleman welcomed us warmly and gave us lots of useful information about Toulouse, its history, what to see and what the city is like today. We appreciated that. What disappointed us was the property: the lovely photos online didn't match what we found. I know high summer temperatures make garden upkeep difficult, but the general condition of the house, indoors and out, and the pool could use improvement. We really enjoyed the city, but won't stay here again and will look elsewhere next time. That's just our opinion, of course.

We only spent one night here with a Smartbox voucher, which felt too short to really enjoy the place. The building is charming, the welcome was very warm, and there's a lovely infinity pool. Breakfast was generous, with unusual homemade jams like eggplant and cucumber. The host is happy to chat and suggest places to visit. If you enjoy meeting people and having a conversation, you'd feel at home here.

After a day sightseeing, it was lovely to cool off in the pool and return to the peace and quiet outside the city. This guesthouse is about 20 minutes from Toulouse, a good base for visiting the Cité de l'Espace. It's a magnificent building, the hosts are charming and welcoming, and both the room and homemade breakfast were excellent.

There are several cats here, and they're very affectionate, so animal lovers will be happy. The hosts are pleasant and interesting, and the place is quiet. Our room was large and bright. Breakfast was varied and really good, though easy to overdo. Their rustic artisanal country bread was a nice change from bland white bread. I'm not very used to guesthouses, but if they're all like this, I'd happily stay in one again.
