Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. The duck breast was delicious, and so was the local beer. For the quality, the price was very reasonable, and the atmosphere felt warm, friendly, and family-run. The grounds are beautiful, and we were welcomed so warmly. Our room was simple but modern, spacious, practical, and clean, with great bedding. It was wonderfully quiet too. We stayed one night, and this was such a lovely find that we’ll choose it again when we visit this beautiful region.

We were a group of five and spent two nights at the Grand Couvent in Gramat after three days exploring this beautiful region. It’s a peaceful, very pleasant place. The rooms were clean and quiet, just right for a good night’s rest, and the half-board meals were tasty and generous. A heartfelt thank you to all the people working behind the scenes who make the place feel so unique and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend staying at the Grand Couvent.

We were treated as VIP guests for one night after a group cancelled, and got to enjoy dinner and breakfast as well. Many thanks for the hospitality in such an unusual setting, whether you were fully convinced or not.
