We especially loved the garden, with its flowers, fruit trees, vegetable patch, rabbit hutches, and chicken coop. The owners were so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious, with fruit picked from the garden, homemade compotes and yogurts, and sourdough baked right there. We stayed with our two children and had a wonderful time. The spacious, clean rooms were tastefully decorated, and the beds were comfortable. Le Clos des Fontaines is a beautiful old building, carefully restored, in a small village beside the Lot River. I highly recommend it.

We had such a lovely family weekend, and I'm really grateful to the owners for helping make it so special. I couldn't figure out how to leave a comment on the Gîte de France website, so I'm posting it here instead. The owners are generous and lovely, and everything else felt just as delightful, the house, the rooms, the garden, and breakfast. I'd happily come back!

The care and passion behind the fruit and vegetables they grow in their garden really charmed us. This was our first bed and breakfast stay, and we were also won over by the warm welcome and the beauty of the place.
