La Bastide O'nhora

We spent a lovely week here, the four of us, with two adults and two children. The grounds were beautiful and well looked after, and the view was breathtaking. We especially enjoyed the fantastic pool and the peaceful natural setting, even though Grasse center is just an 8-minute drive away and the sea is about 40 minutes away. The cottage had everything we needed, including a washing machine, an iron, and a fully equipped kitchen. A unique little haven, and the hosts were kind, respectful, and professional. I’d happily recommend it.

We had a great welcome from the owner, who also suggested several places to see in the region. The terrace and house both had a magnificent view, and the rental was well equipped. It’s a perfect base for exploring the French Riviera and the Grasse hinterland, with a big pool to unwind in between outings. We’ll definitely come back!

Muslim women who wear a veil should be aware: we were not allowed to enter the gite in Grasse. I see that as discrimination. The children were shocked, and the owner’s claim to respect our religion made the situation even worse. This hotel is not for everyone, and I found the owner’s behavior racist. LET'S FIGHT AGAINST DISCRIMINATION!!!

We spent two blissful weeks here and hated having to leave. The region is well worth discovering, and the rental itself matched its description with nothing missing. The view was superb, the pool lovely, and the place peaceful. The owners were discreet but available when needed. The drive up is surprising at first, though you get used to it.
