Le Clos des Cyprès

We spent our last 3 nights in Provence here for our 30th anniversary, and even had our anniversary dinner at the B&B. It was a delicious gourmet meal with local wine, and Valérie’s husband is a talented chef. Valérie was a perfect host, breakfast was a pleasure, and those late afternoons by the pool were the best way to end each day. The location makes a great base for Avignon, Saint Remy, and other local towns. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back.

We wished we could stay longer. Valerie made us feel right at home, and the property is very handy for getting to all the main attractions. The grounds are beautifully kept, though it wasn’t warm enough for us to use the pool. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, above and beyond what we expected. The gourmet dinner cooked by Valerie’s husband, a former chef, was a great extra and an experience in its own right. Next time we’re in the region, we’ll stay at Les Clos des Cypres again.

Valerie made our time in Provence wonderful. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the yard and pool area were beautiful. She and her husband also make the yummiest breakfasts and dinners :)

The gardens were beautiful and peaceful, and the accommodation was kept to an extremely high standard. Valerie was attentive from booking right through to our departure, and nothing seemed too much trouble as she made us feel welcome in her home. Her local knowledge and suggestions for places to visit were much appreciated. Breakfast and the special evening meals were delicious, with first class attention to detail and hosting. Her husband’s cooking was top quality, as was the wine list. 100% for us, and we’ll make sure we return.
