Oct 2025 • Couples We last stayed here in 2022, and this was our second visit. A lot has changed since then, and unfortunately not for the better. We were very disappointed because the amenities seemed to have been downgraded. We had two evening meals at the property. The beef carpaccio was OK, but at other restaurants, parmesan shavings have meant large pieces. Here it was grated parmesan, and there was so little that we could hardly taste it. The ravioli gratin we had the second night was completely tasteless and overcooked, with no béchamel sauce left, so it was totally dry. Even the shower gel seemed cheap, and the toilet paper was so bad we went out and bought our own. To make things worse, they no longer accept credit cards. We had no spare cash, so I had to persuade the owner to take my credit card, which he eventually agreed to.

A beautiful property with well-equipped rooms and lovely owners. If you have a car and are visiting Provence, this is a must stay. Dinner is available each evening at an extra cost, and breakfast is included. The food was delicious. I highly, highly recommend Le Mas des Chutes!

For 160€ a night for two people, I expected more. The room itself was lovely, with two separate comfortable beds, a small terrace, a decent-sized bathroom, and a little fridge. We had to switch the fridge off each night because of the noise. We only got two large towels, with no hand towel, so we had to use our own. The blackout curtains didn’t do the job, and daylight came into the room at 6 in the morning. Breakfast was disappointing too. The orange juice was from a carton, and it was the same thing each morning, just slices of bread with homemade jam, one croissant, and one homemade yogurt per person. There was no choice of sweet or savory. That was all. I wasn’t happy with the value for the price.

The owners made us feel as if they’d known us for years, and this was where I felt most comfortable in France. The villa and property were stunning, the pool refreshing, and the rooms clean and well appointed. Breakfasts were fabulous, among the very best we had in France.
