The location is really good, and breakfast was decent, but the hotel wasn’t worth the price. It calls itself a three-star place, though I don’t think it deserves even one. I was glad I only had to stay a night. The rooms were old and dark, and the bathroom was the worst part. There was no separation between the shower and toilet, the floor was very dirty, and the sink smelled terrible. The doors felt like cardboard, so you could hear everything. The staff also didn’t seem very skilled.

The staff were incredible. When my friend got food poisoning, they were so kind and helpful, and made a bad situation much less awful. The room was lovely, with great facilities, and everything was super clean. Absolutely amazing. Thank you!!!

I was in Grenoble for a three-day business trip and stayed at Campanile Grenoble Centre Gate. The location is very central, and both the rooms and breakfast were average. The service was poor, though. There was an issue with my invoice, and I contacted the Hotel five times by email without getting it. After my third message, they didn’t even bother replying.

Good prices and a great spot between the train station, Grenoble School of Management, and the city centre. Otherwise, nothing special.

For a one-night stay, the room was clean and fairly spacious, and the hotel was good for the relatively low price. Check-in and checkout were quick, and the receptionist had a smile. The location was good too. I couldn’t connect to the wifi and used my phone instead, which was fine. Maybe reception could have fixed it if I’d asked, so I’m not taking off a star for that. I’d recommend it as a two-star hotel. I think some complaints come from people expecting a four-star place or something.
