The location is right in the city center, with shops, markets and all kinds of restaurants around ibis Grenoble Centre Bastille. There's a McDonald's in the building, a Burger King a minute away, and trams and buses right outside. Hard to beat that. The receptionist was kind, cheerful and helpful. The lobby felt clean and fresh, and the bar was nice and affordable. My room was spotless, fresh and airy, with comfortable beds, a large double bed and extra pillows. I loved the design and the big TV. Everything was spot on. Ibis keeps improving its service each year, and this stay showed it again. Thanks to the whole team! 😊

There was no heating in January 2026. Instead of a proper fix, we were handed a small fan. The reception staff and I tried four different rooms, and not one had heat, so the issue seemed to affect the whole hotel. Conditions were miserable, with no comfort or respect for guests. I don't understand how the authorities let this hotel operate. I wouldn't recommend it under any circumstances.

The hotel was clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Coming from Canadian hotels, I found everything in Europe smaller, but the location couldn't be better, right in the middle of downtown with easy access to any service.

As a travel agent, I'm really happy when I get service this efficient. Manaelle was especially helpful, very, very helpful. Excellent service, thank you so much!

We stayed two nights during a road trip to Provence. The hotel is right in the center, has excellent parking, and the staff were fabulous. Still, the property's general shabbiness was disheartening. It cost almost twice what we'd paid for the spotless, spacious Adagio in Dijon on the previous nights. It felt like some of that profit could go toward renovations.
