Park Hotel Grenoble - Handwritten Collection

The steam Hammam helps me sleep and get over jet lag faster. I’m usually here for business, and the rooms feel modern while still having some character and being comfortable. Breakfast is a good start to the day, with a few healthy choices.

After a long drive, we ended up needing a room at short notice. A mix-up at checkout from our AirBNB in Chambéry meant my wife had left her backpack behind. We only realized after driving for 3+ hours, so we turned around to retrieve it. By the time we got back it was after 5 pm. The Park Hotel in Grenoble had a room, upgraded us, and applied the All Accor member discount. We also had a really good dinner with drinks and wine at an affordable, reasonable price. They turned a rough day around.

The welcome was great and the staff paid attention. Our room was a decent size, and it kept the street noise out well. But it faced the staircase, where people passing through made noise all the time, and I personally found the bed uncomfortable. Breakfast was pretty average, especially if you need gluten-free options.

Valerie was so helpful and friendly when we checked in, and we had a great stay from there. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. Both the restaurant and bar were excellent. I’d highly recommend the hotel and will come back.
