Bernadette's smile, attention, and real interest in the residents made all the difference. Without her, I would have felt very alone, and I want to thank her for being so kind. I arrived by myself with no idea of my bearings. They took the tourist tax without any warmth, didn't ask about my journey or my upcoming move, and just handed me the keys and left me to manage. The accommodation was dark and very noisy. I had expected a more humane atmosphere in what is supposed to be a care facility, but that wasn't my experience. They wouldn't give me my schedule until I paid for my supplemental health insurance, as though I might leave without paying. The whole place felt very peculiar, with money clearly driving things.

The apartment was well equipped, and the establishment was very nice and clean. The one drawback was the windows: there were no shutters, and light came through the curtains.

The location is handy, just a three-minute walk to the thermal baths and ten minutes to the town centre. It's a peaceful residence with friendly staff. The rooms were simple and clean, with air conditioning and a ceiling fan, and the bed was adequate. For a mountain view, pick the 3rd or 4th floor above the entrance hall. The other views are terrible. A lot needs work. Sheets were changed only once in three weeks, though towels were replaced twice a week. The bathrooms need renovating, and the kitchen is tiny and basic, with mediocre utensils. The amenities overall are very basic. The owners should shut the residence for three months and do the renovations needed to modernize it. I won't return unless they do.

Ms. Gaubour. The place was pleasant, but it didn't get much sun and was too close to the construction work. My only complaint was one of the twin-bed mattresses, which was poor quality and completely sagged in the middle.
