The Burel family made us feel so welcome, and Clotilde was always helpful with advice and information. Our 15 days at Font Peyrins were a resounding success. The house is surrounded by holm oaks and lavender fields, and the setting is beautiful, peaceful, and restorative. The cottage had everything we needed, and the swimming pool was stunning. Thank you so much to the owners. It was perfect.
Just five minutes by car from Grignan and a supermarket, Font-Peyrins makes a relaxing countryside base for a couple, family, or friends. The white stone cottages sit on a beautiful, carefully tended property among trees and flowers, beside an old truffle oak forest and lavender fields. Inside, the beds are excellent, the kitchen is fully equipped, and there are plenty of amenities. The house stays naturally cool in hot summer weather, especially after a swim in the pool beneath the mulberry trees, so we didn’t need air conditioning. In winter, the lovely stone fireplaces can warm things up if needed. A particular pleasure was talking with the delightful owners, who had lots of useful tips for exploring the area.
The setting is gorgeous and so restful, and Clotilde welcomed us with real warmth, kindness, and thoughtful touches. We had a very pleasant stay at this beautiful property, though it was far too short. Many thanks!
We’re very grateful to our hosts, who did everything they could to make our stay perfect. Their country house has been renovated comfortably and sits amid lush greenery. It’s a magical spot where the quiet and nature make it easy to recharge.
