Being right in the centre of town made this charming little hotel a handy base for getting to Chateau Grignan. There’s also a small lavender farm nearby, which was a nice extra. We loved the restaurant’s courtyard, with its grapevines and twinkling lights, and had a romantic evening there. The menu keeps things simple, with two options for each course, so we could try all the wonderful dishes. The food was beautifully presented and of a truly spectacular standard, with local produce taking centre stage. Service was friendly and helpful, and the owner’s enthusiasm for creative cooking rooted in Provence came through. Look out for L’Heureuse beer (The Happy), a local beer made with lavender.

The suite and meals were both a real treat, and we’ve already booked another stay because we can’t imagine not coming back. The Patio is ideally placed for reaching the heart of Grignan, and the cottage had some lovely surprises in both the rooms and the food. We were welcomed with such warmth, kindness, and grace. I’m at a loss for words about what a wonderful weekend it was 😊

The communal table meals were delicious, and our room was beautiful. It’s in a house where tasteful décor sits naturally alongside old-fashioned charm, right in the heart of Grignan. Everything seemed arranged to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Special thanks to the person in charge of the rooms and service for the thoughtful touches, professionalism, and warm welcome. It made the visit unforgettable. A place worth discovering.

We stumbled on a fantastic restaurant. The food was delicious, made with local ingredients, and the service was pleasant. Prices were very reasonable too.
