The tower’s atmosphere and the superb views from the windows really made this stay special. The town is charming, and staying here makes it easy to sink into the medieval surroundings. Our large room was tastefully decorated, with historic details throughout, and the price was very reasonable. La Cocooning worked perfectly for my husband, our 16-year-old son, and me: it had two bathroom spaces and a pull-out couch for him. The owner was delightful. He served us breakfast on the terrace outside the tower and answered my questions about his renovation project. It was really cool to chat with him, and the muffin he served was one of the best we’ve ever had. We absolutely loved our stay in the Suites. If you’re after a unique, historic experience, please stay at the Tour d’Embas.

The setting and grounds are beautiful, and the room was well appointed. Laurence was a gracious host and even made us sandwiches to take along for our Tour de France day. Breakfast on the terrace was the most memorable part. The service was excellent, too. It’s not centrally located, but it’s peaceful and close enough to Albertville for dinner. I’d give this place a 4.5 if I could.

Marie was the best part of our stay. She’s an incredible host, attentive and discreet enough to leave you your privacy, and such a kind person. We ended up chatting with her for a good hour in the magnificent living room. It was a wonderful encounter, with memories we’ll carry for a long time. The Tower Suites are in a quiet, magnificent location, and our room was perfect for an intimate couple’s stay. Breakfast was excellent as well. Thank you so much, Marie, and see you soon.

Marie gave us a very warm welcome, paid attention to what we needed, and offered great tips for activities nearby. The place is beautiful, very clean, and decorated with taste. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone looking to recharge in a romantic setting.

For our romantic weekend away, the lovely setting made this feel like a little slice of paradise. Our suite was spotless and tastefully decorated, and we were welcomed so warmly. Just remember to reserve a restaurant in advance. Thank you, Marie, for being so kind to us. We’ll be back!
