Résidence Odalys La Palmeraie

We were a group of 16, and having a car is pretty much necessary to get around. The roads are narrow and hard to walk along, though you can reach the Chateu of Grimaud via a side road. There’s a supermarket 1.8km away, so it’s better to buy food there or bring something to cook. Reception closes early and isn’t open around the clock. There’s a pool, a basketball court, and table tennis. The rooms are meant for four, but felt better suited to two. For a family of four, the layout can work: a double bed in the room, a sofa bed in the kitchen-living area, and a bunk bed in the entrance hall. The kitchen has cutlery and the relevant basics for cooking.

The rooms have been renovated recently, and the prices are cheap. They’re quite small, though, so I’d book one meant for more people than are actually coming.

A nice little place in a good location, at a good price. It’s basic, but matches the description.

The pool is really big, clean, and nice.
