SOWELL Family Port Grimaud
About this property
Between the famous jet-set harbour of Saint Tropez and Sainte-Maxime, Port Grimaud and the lakeside town are nicknamed the Venice of Provence and offer fantastic accommodation on the Mediterranean coast. The hotel is situated just 300 metres from the beach, in a wooded green park, which provides a welcome shade in the summer. The on-site outdoor pool is another refreshing alternative and the sports buffs will appreciate the golf course and tennis courts, as well as the bike rental service. The free secure parking and complimentary Wi-Fi internet access, the breakfast brunch service, bar and air conditioning leave nothing to be desired.

Laura at reception was especially lovely and gave me some great tips, and the manager was friendly too. The staff made the stay, and being close to Nice, Cannes and Saint Tropez was great. Already looking forward to May, and hoping I can get the same room again.

The food was barely edible, and our room was dirty. Check-in was a disaster, and from the minute we arrived, things kept going wrong. The staff were rude and didn't care about our concerns. This place has no business calling itself a hotel. I won't be back.

We were there for a week, and the location was amazing. What really made the trip special, though, was the staff. Berenice was brilliant, friendly and so helpful, an absolute star. Big thanks to her and everyone else. We hope to visit again.

There was lots of room for the kids to play, and we all loved our stay. Our rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the food was excellent.

The family rooms were old, smelly and noisy. The area itself is nice for families with little kids.
