The owners made us feel very welcome, and our family was given adjoining rooms. It’s a lovely old chateau, with quiet grounds and lovely views over the valley. There’s a piano downstairs too, so pianists might want to bring music.

Our wedding there was magical, and the hosts did everything they could to make sure we felt welcome. A special thank you to them. We’re thinking of you, Ayoub, Justine, and... Iris! I decided to write this review when I found out the rental had ended.

The owners were kind and professional, and gave us useful advice without pushing us. We had a wonderful wedding at Château des Charmes, which won us over as soon as we saw it. It’s full of character, from the charming stone rooms that stay cool in summer to the romantic feel of the whole place. The grounds are spacious and lovely, with shady trees that made a beautiful setting for the ceremony and cocktail reception. One downside is that the rooms are separate, so you can’t all see each other. My husband and I wholeheartedly recommend Château des Charmes.

The lovely vaulted stone cellars used as reception rooms are downstairs. The house is very attractive, though it isn’t open to the public, and the owners stay there during the warmer months. Outside, there’s a pretty garden with a splendid view and beautiful trees, a lovely spot for a cocktail reception. Access and parking are easy. The rooms can be noisy and echoey, and guests are spread across several rooms where they can’t see one another. The dance floor is in one room, separate from the tables, and with no ventilation it gets unbearably hot in summer.
