The staff were lovely, and I especially liked the rooms with their own terraces. Highly recommend.

It may be one of the better choices in Guéret, but I left frustrated. I’d called beforehand to ask about sports channels and was assured they were available, only to be told on arrival that someone had made a mistake. I also left my toiletry bag in the room. Since I live three hours away, I called to ask about getting it sent back. The staff just said I’d have to send a box myself, without explaining what I was supposed to do. The receptionist sounded keen to end the call and offered no useful help.

Check-in was easy, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly.

The breakfast stood out, with mostly local, high-quality products and fresh orange juice, something I rarely see at hotel buffets. The hotel itself was clean and modern, with spacious, well-equipped rooms, very comfortable beds, and tea and coffee in the room. The main drawback was the ventilation noise all night. The bathroom light also took a while to switch off, which was annoying at night. There’s no restaurant, so we ate at the Campanile next door.
