The rear patio had a lovely view, and the restaurant itself felt clean and inviting. The chef came by at the end to check that we’d enjoyed everything. The food was incredible, and I’d very likely come back to eat outside. Finding parking was a bit of a challenge, but the visit was exceptionally pleasant.

The owner also has a bistro beside the gastronomy restaurant, and it’s very good and well worth the money. It’s one of my favorite places in the region. The main restaurant serves local food at a gastronomy level, with great service and an atmosphere that makes it special. I brought friends from Thailand, and she liked it more than the one, two, and three Michelin-star restaurants in Paris. She said it was the best restaurant of her trip, from Paris through Mont Saint Michel, St Malo, Britany, Biarritz, and down to San Sebastián. If you’re in the area, give it a try.

The Bistrot had a lovely atmosphere for a Sunday in the middle of summer. The food was delicious and the price really reasonable. Service was excellent and extremely professional. Highly recommended!

This hotel-restaurant is an old family house, and you get that feeling as soon as you walk in. Everyone makes you feel like part of the Briketenia family. The team is a big part of what makes each visit memorable, and the food has always been spectacular. It’s my go-to whenever I’m in the Basque region, and a great example of hospitality. The views from the hotel rooms are lovely, too.
