Guilvinec Parc Résidence

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and there’s lots of room for cars, including a garage. Our flat was clean and spacious, in a residence built into a street. The courtyard pool is small but nice for a splash, and there’s a basic little fitness room too. Families should find it a good place to stay. The main letdown was the kitchen equipment: no cutting board and only two mugs.

The listing advertised a pool heated all year, but when we arrived we were told it only opens from June 15th to September 15th. The fitness room was closed too.

We had a pleasant five-day stay, and the staff were nice. The accommodation did have a few annoyances: not enough storage, no towel rail, and a shower floor that’s flat so water doesn’t drain properly. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and creaky.

The location is good, and it's peaceful, with a pool. I’d enjoyed my first three visits to Résidence Parc Résidence Guilvinec, so this year's changes were a real disappointment. On arrival, a new security deposit was required, though Booking.com hadn't mentioned it when I booked. Since the website clearly says cleaning is included, this policy made it feel as if loyal guests were being treated as though they might act in bad faith. We also had to wait several days for a door to be repaired, and a lightbulb was never properly replaced. I hope these issues and the new policy are improved.
