Lavoisier

We stopped here during our cycling holiday and had a great stay. The bedroom was cosy, the bathroom facilities were excellent, and I slept really well. It’s in a perfect spot close to the centre of lovely little Guingamp.

Guingamp turned out to be such an interesting, lovely city that we’d happily come back. The apartment was small but thoughtfully equipped, with everything needed to cook for ourselves. There’s even a lovely patisserie just a few doors away. The bed was very comfortable, the walk-in shower was spacious, and everything was spotless. We stayed one night and will return.

The dinner included in our hotel and dinner package was excellent. We accidentally paid too little for our drinks, but Sophie kindly covered the difference. She was very accommodating and replied quickly to our messages before the stay. A lovely welcome on our first night in France.

The road outside the ground-floor Gavotte studio was the one downside. It was fine in the daytime, but at night the traffic was so heavy and noisy that I wondered whether anyone here ever sleeps. We only stayed one night. Inside, though, the studio was impeccable, pleasant, and very clean, with all the essentials and a really comfortable bed.
