We had a really restful night, and the bed and shower were both just right. Breakfast was a delicious French spread on the garden terrace, and the owners were so friendly. The room has a distinctive, romantic feel, with antique furniture and thoughtful furnishings. There was satellite TV with German channels and a LAN cable too. We’d happily recommend the place.

I was in Gundershoffen for a week on a work assignment in nearby Mertzwiller, and this peaceful little place felt like coming home. It’s lovely and within walking distance of the station, with trains toward Niederbron, Haghenau, and Strasbourg. Dining options in Gundershoffen can be limited on autumn weekdays, though Niederbron is close by. It’d be great if the host could offer packed lunches and maybe dinner on days when restaurants are shut. 😊

We could explore the region easily from here, and the stay felt like stepping out of time. The room was roomy and elegant, and breakfast was downright magical. Everything was lovely and delicious. I’d absolutely recommend it.

The bed was comfortable, and the place has been renovated beautifully with a lot of taste. If you're nearby, I'd recommend staying here. Le Cygne restaurant is only 200 meters away if you fancy a meal.
